The National Concert Hall, described as the 'home of music in Ireland,' stands proudly on Earlsfort Terrace in Dublin city center. This distinguished venue is not only known for its exceptional acoustics but also for its stunning architecture, making it a must-visit destination for music enthusiasts. The building's history dates back to 1865 when it was constructed as the Exhibition Palace for the Dublin International Exhibition of Arts and Manufactures. Later, it became the central building for University College Dublin (UCD) in 1908. In 1981, following renovations, it was inaugurated as the National Concert Hall. The hall has significant links to the War of Independence; in 1922, Dáil Éireann met in UCD's Council Chamber located in the building to ratify the Anglo-Irish Treaty. Today, the NCH hosts over 1,000 events each year in its various chambers. It is home to Ireland's National Symphony Orchestra, along with other musical organizations like the Chamber Choir Ireland and the Irish Baroque Orchestra.
