    From the center of Connemara National Park, head southwest on the N59 towards Clifden. Continue for approximately 15 km until you reach the junction for R341. Turn left onto the R341 and follow the signs towards Omey Strand. After about 6 km, you will reach a small road leading to the beach. Follow this road until you reach the parking area near the strand. Please note that parking may be limited during peak tourist season.

    To reach Omey Strand by public transport, take a bus from Clifden to Claddaghduff. Buses are available from Clifden Bus Station. Once you arrive at Claddaghduff, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach Omey Strand. Follow the signs towards the beach or ask locals for directions, as it is a straightforward route.
