Getting There

    If you're starting from the center of Connemara National Park, head southwest on the R344 towards Clifden. Continue on R344 for approximately 12 km until you reach the junction with the N59. Turn right onto N59 and drive for about 2 km. Look for signs for Errisbeg West and turn left onto the local road (this may not be signposted). Follow this road for about 1 km until you reach Port na Feadóige (Gorteen Bay). There is limited parking available near the bay.

    From Clifden, take a bus to Roundstone. Bus Eireann services operate this route and you can check the schedule online. Once in Roundstone, you may need to hire a taxi to get to Port na Feadóige as public transport options are limited in that area. The taxi ride from Roundstone to Gorteen Bay will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
