    If you are driving, head towards Galway City from any part of Connemara National Park. Once you reach Galway, follow signs for N6 towards Dublin. Take the exit for N59 towards Westport and continue onto the R338. After approximately 3km, turn left onto Doughiska Road. Continue straight, and you will see the entrance to Merlin Park Woods on your right. There is free parking available at the park entrance.

    To reach Merlin Park Woods via public transportation, take a bus from various locations in Connemara to Galway City. Bus Eireann operates services from towns like Clifden and Roundstone. Once you arrive in Galway, you can take the City Direct bus service (Route 404 or 405) towards Doughiska.
