If you are staying in Liscannor, you can walk to Clahane Viewpoint. From the village, follow the road towards the coast. The walk is approximately 7.5 km and offers scenic views of Liscannor Bay. There are no specific costs involved.
Public Transport
To reach Clahane Viewpoint via public transport, take the Bus Éireann route 350 from Ennis to Doolin. From Doolin, a taxi is required to reach the viewpoint, as public transport does not directly serve this location. The taxi ride takes approximately 15 minutes and costs around €15-€20. The bus from Ennis to Doolin costs approximately €7-€11.
Car
If driving from Ennis, take the N85 road towards Kilrush. Turn left onto the R474 and continue for approximately 10 km. Look for signs directing you to Clahane Viewpoint. There is free parking available near the viewpoint. Be cautious of winding roads and watch for pedestrians.
