Getting There

Driving
From Donegal Town, take the N56 to Killybegs, then the R263 to Carrick. In Carrick, turn left at the Slieve League Lodge. Continue for 2km, passing the Rusty Mackerel pub. Turn right, and the Sliabh Liag Visitor Centre is on the right. From the Visitor Centre, you can drive to the lower parking area closer to the cliffs for a fee (€5 for 3 hours, €15 for the day). During peak season, access to the upper parking area near the viewing point is restricted to those with mobility issues. Parking at the Visitor Centre is free.

Public Transport
Take the Local Link public bus service from Donegal Town to Carrick. From Carrick, a taxi to the Sliabh Liag Visitor Centre or Teelin is approximately €10-€15. Alternatively, it's a 5km walk to Teelin from Carrick. From the Visitor Centre, a shuttle bus service is available to the cliffs for €8 (adult), €7 (student/senior), or €6 (child).

Shuttle Bus
During the peak season (March - October), a shuttle bus service operates from the Sliabh Liag Visitor Centre to the Sliabh Liag viewing point. The shuttle departs every 40 minutes, or every 20 minutes from 12 pm. A round-trip ticket costs €8 for adults, €7 for students and seniors, and €6 for children. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes.
