If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Portlaoise. Head northwest on the N80 road towards Stradbally. After approximately 14 kilometers, take the turnoff for the R425 towards Aghaboe. Continue on the R425 for about 7 kilometers until you reach Aghaboe village. Aghaboe Abbey is located just off the village center, near the Aghaboe Church. There is parking available nearby.

Once you arrive at Aghaboe, the Abbey is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the main road into the village, and you will see the Abbey near the church.
