If you are driving, head towards Newcastle West. From Limerick City, take the N21 road towards Tralee. After approximately 25 km, take the exit towards Newcastle West. Continue on the N21, and then take the R520 towards Newcastle West. Follow signs for the 'Newcastle West Business Park'. The Limerick Greenway is located within the business park. There is no entry fee for accessing the Greenway.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Limerick City to Newcastle West. Bus Eireann operates routes from Limerick to Newcastle West, with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Newcastle West, you can walk to the Limerick Greenway by heading towards the Newcastle West Business Park. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the Greenway entrance. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time for departure times.
