Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, head to Baltray from Drogheda. Start by taking the R132 road southbound out of Drogheda. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the R166, where you will take a left turn onto the R166. Follow the R166 as it leads you towards Baltray. As you approach Baltray, look for signs for Braghan. Turn onto Braghan Road and follow it until you see the Baltray Fairy Mounds on your right. There is a small parking area nearby.

    For public transportation, take a bus from Drogheda to Baltray. Check for bus services that go to Baltray; Bus Éireann operates services in the area. Once you arrive in Baltray, you may have to walk a short distance to the Fairy Mounds.
