Car
From Westport, take the N59 road southbound towards Louisburgh. After approximately 19 km, turn right onto the R335 towards Murrisk. Continue on this road until you reach the village of Louisburgh. From Louisburgh, take the R335 towards the village of Killadoon, then continue on this road until you reach the T-junction at the coast. Turn left and follow the signs for Blacksod. Stay on this road, and after about 35 km, you will arrive at Blacksod. Follow local signs to the Blacksod Memorial Garden located in Fallmore.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Westport to Belmullet. Bus services such as Bus Éireann operate on this route. Once in Belmullet, transfer to a local taxi service or a connecting bus to Blacksod. The taxi ride from Belmullet to Blacksod will take approximately 30 minutes, and you should expect to pay around €30-€40 for the taxi fare.
Walking
If you are in the nearby area of Blacksod, the Memorial Garden is within walking distance from the village. Simply follow the main road through Fallmore, and you will see signs for the Memorial Garden. The garden is located a short 10-15 minute walk from the village center.
