From Westport, take the N59 road southbound towards Louisburgh. After approximately 19 km, turn right onto the R335 towards Murrisk. Continue on this road until you reach the village of Louisburgh. From Louisburgh, take the R335 towards the village of Killadoon, then continue on this road until you reach the T-junction at the coast. Turn left and follow the signs for Blacksod. Stay on this road, and after about 35 km, you will arrive at Blacksod. Follow local signs to the Blacksod Memorial Garden located in Fallmore.

Take a bus from Westport to Belmullet. Bus services such as Bus Éireann operate on this route. Once in Belmullet, transfer to a local taxi service or a connecting bus to Blacksod.
