Car
If you are driving from Westport, take the N59 towards Mulranny. After approximately 13 km, turn left onto the N59 towards Mulranny village. Continue on this road until you reach the village. Once in Mulranny, follow the signs for Mulranny Park Hotel. The Causeway is accessible from the opposite side of the hotel. There is free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
From Westport, take a bus operated by Bus Éireann (Route 440) towards Achill Island. Get off at the Mulranny stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the village center, and follow the signs to Mulranny Park Hotel. The Causeway is located just opposite the hotel. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
Bicycle
For those preferring cycling, Westport has bike rental services available. Cycle along the N59 towards Mulranny. The distance is about 13 km and offers scenic views of the countryside. Once in Mulranny, you can park your bike at the designated areas near Mulranny Park Hotel and walk to the Causeway.
Walking
If you are staying in Mulranny, the Causeway is easily accessible on foot. From the village center, walk towards Mulranny Park Hotel. The Causeway is directly opposite the hotel. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you make your way there.
