The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Rosses Point bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the beach, which is just a short 5-minute walk down the main road.

If you prefer to walk from Sligo town to Rosses Point, start at O'Connell Street and head towards the Quays. Follow the Quays until you reach the R291 road. Continue along the R291, enjoying the scenic views for approximately 4.5 kilometers. This walk will take around 1 hour, leading you directly to the entrance of Rosses Point Beach.

For a cycling option, you can rent a bicycle in Sligo town. Start at the town center and head towards the Quays. From there, take the R291 route towards Rosses Point.
