If you're driving from Sligo town, head south on the N4 towards Strandhill. Continue on the N4 for about 8 km until you reach the turnoff for Strandhill. Turn left onto R291 and follow the road until you reach Strandhill village. Once in Strandhill, follow the signs to Sligo Airport. The Nun's Beach is located near the airport. There is ample parking available, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

From Sligo town, take the Bus Éireann route 477 towards Strandhill. The bus will take you directly to Strandhill village. Once you arrive in Strandhill, walk towards Sligo Airport, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs to the beach once you reach the airport area. Check the bus schedule ahead of time for the latest departure times and fares.

Walking (from Strandhill village)
If you find yourself in Strandhill village, you can easily walk to The Nun's Beach. Head towards Sligo Airport, which is approximately a 1 km walk. Follow the main road (R291) and look for signs directing you to the beach. This walk takes around 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the coastline.
