From Wexford town, head southwest on the R730 road towards the N25. Continue on the N25 for approximately 10 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the R741 towards Rosslare. Follow the R741 for about 5 km until you see signs for Coolroe. Turn right onto Coolroe Road, and continue for another 2 km. You will find Coolroe Forest on your left.

From Wexford town, take the Bus Éireann route number 370 towards Rosslare. This bus operates several times a day. Get off at the Coolroe stop. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Coolroe Forest. Head southeast on Coolroe Road for 1.5 km, and you will reach the entrance to the forest.
