If you are traveling by car, you can start from the town of Glendalough. Head south on the R756 towards the village of Laragh. Continue on the R756 until you reach the junction with the R747. Turn right onto the R747 and follow it until you reach the entrance to the Baravore Mines. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Baravore, which is located approximately 10 km from Glendalough. There is a small parking area near the mines where you can safely leave your vehicle.

For those using public transportation, begin your journey at the nearest bus station in Wicklow Town. Take the No. 183 bus towards Glendalough. Once you arrive at the Glendalough visitor center, you will need to walk approximately 3 km to reach Baravore Mines. Follow the signs towards the R756 and then onto the R747.
