If you're driving from the center of County Wicklow, take the N11 road heading north towards Dublin. Continue on the N11 until you reach the junction for the M50. Merge onto the M50 motorway and follow the signs for the N4 towards Dublin. As you approach the city, take the exit for the R131 towards Poolbeg. Follow the R131 until you reach the S Wall. Poolbeg Lighthouse will be visible along the waterfront.
Public Transportation
To reach Poolbeg Lighthouse using public transport, start by taking a bus from any town in County Wicklow to Dublin city center. Once in Dublin, make your way to the Busáras (Bus Station) which is near the River Liffey. From there, catch the No. 1 or No. 47 bus towards Poolbeg. The bus will take you along the coast, and you should disembark at the stop closest to S Wall. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the lighthouse along the waterfront.
