Walking
From Dingle town center, head towards the harbor. Walk down Green Street until you reach the waterfront. Turn left and continue along the water until you see the Dingle Tourist Office on your right. From the Tourist Office, head to the main road (N86) and walk down this road. Continue walking for about 4 kilometers. You will eventually reach a sign for Fahan. Follow this road, and you will see the Famine Cottages (Teachíní an Ghorta Mhóir) on your left.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Dingle town. Start at the Dingle Bike Shop located near the main square. Head towards the harbor and then onto the N86 road. Follow the same route as for walking. The bike ride is approximately 4 kilometers, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way. Keep an eye out for the sign for Fahan, where you will turn left towards the cottages.

Public Transportation
From Dingle town, you can take a local bus (check the schedule at the Dingle Tourist Office). Board the bus heading towards Ventry and ask the driver to let you off at Fahan. Once you get off, the Famine Cottages (Teachíní an Ghorta Mhóir) are a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop along the Fahan road.
