Walking
From the center of Dingle, head south on Main Street towards the waterfront. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with the R559 road. Turn left onto R559 and walk for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass by beautiful coastal views and fields. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Ventry. Once you reach Ventry, look for the Fahan area, which is well-marked. The Famine Cottages are located a short walk from the main road. Follow the signs leading you to the cottages.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Dingle. From the rental location, cycle towards the R559 road, which is just south of the main square. Once on R559, head west towards Ventry, following the same route as the walking instructions. This ride is about 2 kilometers and offers stunning views along the way. The Famine Cottages will be on your right as you approach Ventry.
