Car
If you're driving from Donegal Town, take the N15 road towards Ballybofey. After about 18 kilometers, take the exit for the R263 towards Carrick. Follow the R263 for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach Carrick Lower. Continue straight until you see signs for Salmon Leap; the attraction is located just off the main road. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.

To reach Salmon Leap by public transport from Donegal Town, take the Bus Éireann route 64 towards Carrick. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the Carrick stop. From there, it's a short 15-minute walk to Salmon Leap. Head southeast on Main Street, then turn left onto R263. Continue straight until you see the signage for Salmon Leap.

If you're already in Carrick Lower, you can walk to Salmon Leap. Starting from the center of Carrick, head southeast on Main Street. Turn left onto the R263 and follow the road for about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the way to Salmon Leap, which will be on your left.
