Starting from Donegal Bay, take the N56 road heading towards Letterkenny. Continue on the N56 for about 20 km until you reach the junction with the R251. Turn left onto the R251 and follow it for approximately 12 km. Look for signs directing you to Glenveagh National Park. As you approach the park entrance, there is a car park where you can leave your vehicle. Note that parking may incur a fee, so be sure to check the current rates.

From Donegal Bay, take a bus to Letterkenny (Bus Eireann route 64). Once in Letterkenny, transfer to the bus service heading to Glenveagh National Park. The bus service to Glenveagh typically runs a few times a day, so check the current timetable in advance. Upon arrival at the park, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km to reach Glenveagh Castle, following the marked path through the park. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
