Getting There

  • Walking

    From Drogheda town centre, head south towards Shop Street. Continue straight until you reach the main road, the N51. Turn left onto the N51 and follow the signs for Dublin. After about a 10-15 minute walk, you will reach Drogheda Train Station. From there, take a train heading towards Dublin. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Dublin's Connolly Station, exit the station and head towards Abbey Street. Walk along Abbey Street until you reach O'Connell Street. Cross O'Connell Street and continue onto Parnell Square. From Parnell Square, it is a short walk to Mountjoy Square Park, located at the northern side of the square.

  • Bus

    From Drogheda town centre, walk to the Drogheda Bus Station located on the junction of the N51 and the M1. Take a bus heading to Dublin city centre (such as Bus Eireann service 100 or 101). The bus ride will take about 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Dublin (Busáras), exit and walk towards the Luas tram stop. Take the Luas Red Line tram towards The Point. Get off at the Parnell stop. From there, it's a short walk to Mountjoy Square Park, located just north of Parnell Square. Follow the signs to Mountjoy Square.
