Public Transport - Bus
From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station located at 3-4, West Street, Drogheda, Co. Louth. Take a bus heading to Dublin City. The journey typically takes around 40-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Dublin, alight at the stop closest to O'Connell Street. From there, walk towards Abbey Street and catch the Luas tram at Abbey Street stop towards the Red Line. Travel until you reach the 'Museum' stop. Once you get off, walk towards Merrion Square West, and you will find the National Gallery of Ireland located at Merrion Square W, Dublin 2, D02 K303.

Head to Drogheda Train Station, located on the Westgate Road. Board a train heading to Dublin Connolly Station. The train journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Dublin Connolly, exit the station and walk towards O'Connell Street. From O'Connell Street, you can either take a bus towards Merrion Square or walk approximately 25 minutes to Merrion Square West. The National Gallery of Ireland is located at Merrion Square W, Dublin 2, D02 K303.
