From Drogheda town center, walk to the Drogheda Bus Station located at 1-3, West St, Drogheda. Take Bus Route 100 or 101 towards Dublin. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Inform the driver you want to get off at O'Connell Bridge in Dublin, which is the nearest stop to the National Museum of Ireland.

From Drogheda Train Station, take a train towards Dublin. You will need to board a train heading to Dublin Connolly Station. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Dublin Connolly Station, exit the station and walk approximately 20 minutes to reach the National Museum of Ireland at 35A Kildare St. You can follow the signs for O'Connell Street, then head towards Kildare Street.

If you are already in Drogheda town center, you can take a leisurely walk to the National Museum of Ireland. Head south on West Street towards the Boyne River. Cross the river using the Westgate Bridge and continue straight onto St. Mary's Street. Follow the street until it merges into the M1. Continue walking south until you reach the bus or train stations. From there, take public transport to Dublin city center as mentioned above.
