From Dublin city center, make your way to the nearest DART station, such as Tara Street or Connolly Station. Purchase a ticket to Howth, which is approximately a 30-minute train ride. Once on the DART train, enjoy the scenic views along the coast. Upon arrival at Howth station, exit the train and follow the signs to the village. You will find yourself on Station Road; continue walking straight until you reach the harbor area.

Once you are at Howth harbor, walk towards the pier. Head to the west side of the pier where you will see various boats. Look for the Ireland's Eye Ferries sign, which indicates where you can board the boat. The address is 1 W Pier, Howth, Dublin 13. The ferry service is located directly at the water's edge, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding it.

If you prefer to take a bus, you can catch the 31, 31B, or 31X from Dublin city center. These buses depart from various locations, including O'Connell Street. The journey takes about 1 hour, depending on traffic. Get off at the Howth Village bus stop, and from there, it’s a short walk to the harbor. Head down Church Street and then turn left onto the West Pier, where you will find the Ireland's Eye Ferries.
