From Ennis, make your way to the nearest major ferry terminal, which is in Doolin. You can take a bus from Ennis to Doolin; the Bus Éireann service will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Doolin, follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Ferries to Inisheer operate regularly, and you can buy your tickets at the terminal. The ferry ride to Inisheer will take approximately 30 minutes.

Once you arrive on Inisheer, disembark at the ferry terminal. From there, the Plassey Shipwreck is located about 2.5 kilometers from the ferry terminal. Follow the main path away from the harbor towards the island’s interior and keep walking straight. You will see signs pointing towards the shipwreck, which is along the coast. The walk will take around 30-40 minutes, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way.
