Walking
From the center of Ennis, head towards the Ennis Train Station, which is located on the south side of the town. Once you reach the train station, exit onto Station Road and head north. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N85 road, which will lead you out of Ennis towards Tarbert. Keep walking along the N85 for approximately another 1.5 miles until you reach a junction. Turn right onto the N67 road and continue for about 7 miles. The Tarbert Bridewell Courthouse and Jail Museum will be on your left as you approach Tarbert, located at N67, Co. Kerry, V31 X883. The museum is well signposted, so keep an eye out for the signs.

From the Ennis Bus Station, take the bus heading towards Tarbert. Buses typically run several times a day, but it's important to check the current schedule. Once you board the bus, make sure to inform the driver that you are heading to Tarbert. Stay on the bus until you reach the Tarbert stop. After disembarking, walk towards the main road (N67). The Tarbert Bridewell Courthouse and Jail Museum will be a short walk away, located at N67, Co. Kerry, V31 X883. Follow the signs for the museum as you approach.
