Discover more about The Burren Perfumery

The Burren Perfumery is more than just a place to purchase fragrances; it's an immersive experience that captures the essence of the Burren landscape. Established in 1972, the perfumery has grown from a small shop to a renowned creator of natural and organic perfumes, cosmetics, and candles. Visitors are welcome year-round to explore the perfumery's grounds and witness the intricate process of perfume making. The perfumery draws inspiration from the flora of the Burren, incorporating native herbs and plants into its signature scents. The organic herb garden, planted in 1999, showcases examples of these native herbs and provides information on their traditional uses. Inside, you can observe the team blending, bottling, and packaging perfumes, as well as crafting organic creams and balms in small batches. The perfumery also features a tea room where visitors can relax and enjoy organic cakes, scones, and teas. A short film about the Burren's history and beauty adds to the experience. The Burren Perfumery offers free admission and is partially wheelchair-accessible.
