Getting There

    If you are driving from the center of Glendalough, head southwest on the R756 road. Continue for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Keep left to stay on the R756. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Brockagh Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will find Glendalough Sanctuary at Brockagh, Co. Wicklow, A98 VK68 on your left.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Glendalough Sanctuary by public transport, take the bus from Glendalough to Laragh. Buses run regularly from the Glendalough Visitor Centre. Upon reaching Laragh, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers. Head east on the R756 road until you reach Brockagh Road. Turn left onto Brockagh Road, and continue for about 1 kilometer. Glendalough Sanctuary will be on your left at Brockagh, Co. Wicklow, A98 VK68.

  • Walking

    If you are already within Glendalough and prefer to walk, start at the Glendalough Visitor Centre. Walk along the R756 road heading southwest for about 5 kilometers. When you reach the fork, keep left to remain on the R756. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Brockagh Road. Continue walking straight for approximately 1 kilometer, and you will find Glendalough Sanctuary at Brockagh, Co. Wicklow, A98 VK68 on your left.
