Car
From the center of Glendalough, head southwest on the R756 road towards the R757. Continue on the R756 for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R757. Turn left onto the R757 and follow it for 2 kilometers. You will see the entrance to the Green Road Walk on your left. There is limited parking available nearby, so be sure to arrive early to secure a spot.

If you are traveling by public transport, take the local bus service (Bus Eireann) from Glendalough to Laragh. The bus leaves from the designated bus stop in Glendalough. Once you arrive at Laragh, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along the R757 towards the Green Road Walk. Follow the signs for the walking trail, which will be on your right side. Be aware of the bus schedules, as they may vary, and plan your return trip accordingly.

If you are already in the Glendalough area and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route. Follow the path along the lakeside, passing the Upper Lake. Continue walking towards the R756 road, then turn left. Proceed down the R756 until you reach the junction with the R757, then turn left onto the R757. The Green Road Walk entrance will be on your left after about 2 kilometers.
