Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Glendalough. Head northwest on the R756 towards the N81. Merge onto the N81 and continue for about 20 km until you reach the M50 motorway. Take the M50 northbound towards Dublin. After approximately 20 km, take exit 12 for the N4 towards the city center. Continue on the N4, which becomes the N3, and follow the signs for 'City Center'. After about 5 km, keep right at the fork to stay on the N3. Continue until you reach the O'Connell Bridge and follow the signs for Temple Bar. The Palace Bar is located at 21 Fleet St, Temple Bar, Dublin 2. Parking may be limited in the area, so be prepared to find a nearby parking facility.

Public Transport - Bus
To reach The Palace Bar using public transport, begin at the Glendalough Visitor Centre. Look for the bus stop serving the 183 bus route. Take the bus heading towards Dublin City. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Get off at the stop 'O'Connell Street'. From there, walk towards the River Liffey and cross over O'Connell Bridge. Once across, head towards Temple Bar. Continue walking on Fleet Street, and The Palace Bar will be on your left at 21 Fleet St, Dublin 2.

Public Transport - Train
Another option is to take a train from Glendalough to Dublin. Start at the Glendalough Train Station and board a train heading to Dublin Heuston Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you reach Heuston Station, take the Luas Red Line tram towards 'The Point'. Get off at 'Abbey Street' station. From there, walk towards O'Connell Street, cross O'Connell Bridge, and head towards Temple Bar. The Palace Bar is located at 21 Fleet St, Dublin 2, which is a short walk from the tram stop.
