If you are in the city center of Kilkenny, start at the High Street, which is a central point. From High Street, head south towards the Castle. You will see the Kilkenny Castle itself as you walk. Continue walking down the Castle Road until you reach the entrance to Kilkenny Castle Park. The park is located directly adjacent to the castle, and you will find signs leading you to the park entrance.

From the Smithwick's Experience Kilkenny, exit onto John Street and walk south. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Castle Road. Turn left onto Castle Road and follow it until you see the entrance to Kilkenny Castle Park on your right, adjacent to Kilkenny Castle.

If you are near the Kilkenny Train Station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. Follow the path down the Dublin Road, which will eventually lead you to the Castle Road. Once you reach Castle Road, turn right and continue straight until you reach Kilkenny Castle Park on your left, right alongside Kilkenny Castle.
