If you are starting from Kilkenny Castle, exit the castle grounds and head southeast towards The Parade. Continue straight down The Parade, crossing the road carefully. After approximately 250 meters, you will see The Castle Yard on your left. The National Design & Craft Gallery is located within The Castle Yard. Look for the entrance marked with the gallery's sign.

From the Kilkenny Train Station, exit the station and turn right onto the main road. Walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach the junction with The Parade. Turn left onto The Parade and continue walking straight for approximately 300 meters. You will find The Castle Yard on your right, where the National Design & Craft Gallery is located.
