From Kilkenny Castle, head south on the Castle Road towards the River Nore. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the junction with the Waterford Road. Turn left onto the Waterford Road and follow it for approximately 0.5 miles. You will pass the Kilkenny City Park on your right. Continue straight until you reach the Nore Valley Walk, which will lead you to the outskirts of Kilkenny. From there, take a bus or a taxi to Waterford, as it is about 20 miles away.
