Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Kilkenny Railway Station, exit the station and turn left onto the Castlecomer Road (R693). Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto the Dublin Road (N10). Follow this road for another 400 meters, and then turn left onto The Parade. Kilkenny Castle will be on your right after approximately 200 meters.

    From the main square in Kilkenny, known as High Street, head southeast towards The Parade. Continue walking straight along High Street until you reach The Parade. Turn right onto The Parade and continue for about 300 meters. Kilkenny Castle will be on your left.
