Walking
From the center of Kinsale, start at the Market Square. Head southwest on Main Street towards the pier. Continue walking straight until you reach the Kinsale harbor front. At the harbor, turn left onto the waterfront path. Follow this path until you reach the Old Head Road (R600). At this point, you will have a lovely view of the harbor and the surrounding area. Turn right onto the R600 and continue walking along the road. You will see signs for Old Head and the Lusitania Museum & Old Head Signal Tower as you approach. The museum is located at the address: Lusitania Museum & Old Head Signal Tower Project, Ballymackean, Old Head, Co. Cork, P17 T683. It’s approximately a 45-minute walk from the center of Kinsale.

Public Transport
From Kinsale, walk to the bus stop at the Market Square. Take the Bus Éireann route number 226 towards Clonakilty. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Old Head. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you get off the bus, follow the road signs towards the Lusitania Museum & Old Head Signal Tower, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Look for the signs along the way to guide you.
