Walking
If you are starting from the city center, head towards O'Connell Street. Walk north along O'Connell Street until you reach the junction with William Street. Turn left onto William Street and continue straight until you reach the river. Once you reach the River Shannon, turn right and walk along the riverbank. Keep walking until you reach the Thomond Bridge, which will be on your left side. The bridge is a prominent structure, and you will see its arches spanning the river.

From the city center, you can take Bus No. 304 or 305 from the Stop at O'Connell Street. Board the bus and stay on for about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Thomond Bridge.' From the bus stop, walk towards the bridge, which is just a short walk away. Follow the signs for the bridge, and you will find it located along Castle Street.

If you have rented a bike, start from the city center. Head towards the River Shannon using the bike lanes along O'Connell Street. Once you reach the river, turn right and follow the riverside path. Continue to ride along the riverbank until you see Thomond Bridge ahead. The bridge is easily visible from the path, and there’s a bike rack nearby where you can secure your bike.
