If you're traveling by car, start from Killarney, which is a popular base for exploring the Ring of Kerry. Head west on the N71 road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for the N70. Turn onto the N70 towards Killorglin. After approximately 10 kilometers, keep an eye out for signs to Ballykissane. The monument is located on an unnamed road off the N70, just before you reach the town of Killorglin. There is parking available nearby.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Killarney to Killorglin. The bus journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Killorglin bus station, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the N70 road. Follow the main street and then turn left onto the unnamed road leading to the monument. This walk will take around 15 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as they may not be frequent.

If you are staying in Killorglin, you can easily walk to Ballykissane Monument. Starting from the town center, head west on the main street towards the N70.
