From the center of Sligo, walk to the main bus station located on Quay Street. Look for the bus service operated by Bus Eireann that goes to Strandhill. The bus number you need is 64, which departs regularly. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride, and after about 15-20 minutes, disembark at the Strandhill stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Strandhill Beach. Head down the main road, Shore Road, and follow the signs to the beach.

If you prefer to walk from Sligo, start from the town center and head towards the river. Follow the path along the riverbank until you reach the junction with Strandhill Road. Turn right onto Strandhill Road and continue walking. This route is approximately 6 kilometers and will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. As you walk, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the countryside. Once you reach Strandhill, follow the signs to Shore Road, and you will arrive at Strandhill Beach.
