    From Sligo town, head to the bus station located on O'Connell Street. Look for the Bus Éireann service heading to Strandhill. The bus number is 64, and it runs multiple times a day. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Strandhill stop, you will be just a short walk from the beach.

    If you prefer to walk from Sligo town, start at Market Cross in the town center and head south on O'Connell Street. Continue straight on to Quay Street and then take a right onto the R292 road. Follow the R292 for about 6 kilometers; this scenic route will take you through beautiful countryside. Upon reaching Strandhill, follow the signs to the beach, which is located at Shore Rd, Carrowbunnaun. This walk would take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
