Car
If you are driving from the heart of The Burren, such as Doolin, take the N67 south towards Lisdoonvarna. Continue on N67 until you reach the junction with the N85, where you will take a left turn onto the N85. Follow the N85 for about 12 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the R458 towards Bunratty. Continue on R458 for approximately 5 km until you see the signs for Shannon Heritage and Bunratty Castle. Follow the signs to the designated parking area. Expect a parking fee of around €5.

To reach Shannon Heritage via public transportation, start by finding a bus service from Doolin or any nearby town to Ennis. Bus Eireann operates services between these locations. From Ennis, take Bus Eireann route 51 towards Limerick, which stops at Bunratty. Once you arrive at Bunratty, it's a short 15-minute walk to Shannon Heritage. Look for signs directing you towards Bunratty Castle. The bus fare from Doolin to Ennis is approximately €7, and from Ennis to Bunratty is around €5.
