Walking
From Tralee town center, head towards the Tralee Train Station. Once you reach the station, take the train towards Killarney. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. After arriving at Killarney, exit the station and look for the bus stop nearby. Take the Bus Éireann route 279 towards Glenbeigh. The bus ride should take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for Glenbeigh and walk towards Ballintleave. The Kerry Bog Village Museum is located at Red Fox, about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, following the directions posted at the stop.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Tralee. Start at the Tralee Town Park and head west towards the R558 road. Follow the R558 for approximately 14 km, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Continue until you reach Glenbeigh. As you enter the village, look for signs directing you to Ballintleave. The museum will be on your left shortly after passing the Red Fox Inn.

To reach the Kerry Bog Village Museum via public transport, first make your way to Tralee Bus Station. From there, take Bus Éireann route 279 heading to Glenbeigh. The trip will take around 40 minutes. Upon reaching Glenbeigh, disembark at the 'Glenbeigh' bus stop. From there, walk about 1 km towards Ballintleave. You can ask locals for directions if needed, as the museum is well-known in the area.
