If you are in the city center of Waterford, head towards the River Suir. Walk along the riverfront promenade until you reach the bridge at John Roberts Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the main road, following the signs for Kilkenny. After approximately 1.5 km, you will arrive at a bus stop. From there, take the Bus Éireann service towards Kilkenny, which runs regularly throughout the day.

From Waterford City, make your way to the bus station located at 2-3 The Quay. Purchase a ticket for Kilkenny on Bus Éireann. Buses run frequently, approximately every hour. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Kilkenny, disembark at the main bus station. Exit the bus station and turn left onto High Street. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Kilkenny Tourist Information Centre at 79A High St, Gardens.
