Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Kilmacthomas stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the Kilmacthomas Viaduct.

If you prefer to walk part of the way, you can take a train from Waterford to Carrick-on-Suir. First, walk to the Waterford train station. Check the train schedule and board a train heading towards Carrick-on-Suir. This journey takes about 15 minutes. Upon arrival, exit the station and look for local bus services that go to Kilmacthomas or consider walking the remaining distance, which is roughly 5 km along the N24 road. Follow the road signs towards Kilmacthomas, and you should see the viaduct as you approach the town.
