Walking
From the center of Westport, head south on Bridge Street towards the Quay. Continue straight until you reach the Westport Train Station. From there, exit the station and continue straight on the main road (N59) towards Louisburgh. After about 1.5 miles, look for a sign indicating Bertra Beach. Turn left onto Bertra Road and follow it for approximately 1 mile. Bertra Beach will be on your left.

Start at Westport Town Hall and walk to the nearest bus stop on the N59. Take the Bus Éireann route heading towards Louisburgh.
