From the center of Westport, start at the Westport Town Hall. Head southwest on James Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the N59. Cross the street and follow the N59 towards Newport for about 1.5 km. You will see signs for the Greenway on your left. Take the Greenway path, which runs alongside the river and offers scenic views. After approximately 3 km, you will arrive at the village of Newport. In Newport, follow the signs to the coast, and you will see East End Beach about 1 km away from the village center. The beach is located at Cloonamore, Inishbofin, Co. Galway.
