If you are driving from the Wicklow Mountains, take the N11 road heading north towards Dublin. Continue on the N11 for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction for the M50 motorway. Merge onto the M50 heading north. After about 10 km, take exit 12 for the N4 towards Dublin City Centre. Continue on the N4, which will lead you directly into Dublin. Follow the signs for the city center, and as you get close, look for signs pointing to Dublin Castle. The State Apartments are located on Dame Street, right next to Dublin Castle. There is limited street parking available, but there are also several parking garages nearby.
