After approximately 10 km, take the exit for the R115 (The Sally Gap Road). Follow the R115 for about 12 km until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto the R116 towards Tibradden. Continue on this road, and you will see signs for Tibradden Cairn. There is limited parking available near the site, so arrive early during peak times to secure a spot.

For those using public transportation, take Dublin Bus route 44 from the city center towards Ballinteer. Get off at the Ballinteer stop, then switch to route 75 towards Tibradden. This route operates less frequently, so check the schedule in advance. After disembarking, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km uphill to reach Tibradden Cairn. The walk includes navigating through a residential area and then onto a trail leading up to the Cairn.

If you are already in the Wicklow Mountains and prefer to walk, locate the entrance to the Tibradden Wood trails. From there, follow the marked paths leading to Tibradden Cairn. The walk to the Cairn offers scenic views and is a popular hiking route, taking approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. It is advisable to wear sturdy walking shoes and carry water, as some parts of the trail can be steep and rocky.
