    Start from the center of Ballasalla, near the Ballasalla Railway Station. Head south on the A5 road (Station Road) until you reach the junction with the A5 and A27. At the junction, turn left onto the A27 (Castletown Road). Continue walking along the A27 for about 10 minutes. You will see signs for the Heritage Trail. Follow the signs directing you towards Heritage Trail. The picnic area is located along this trail, approximately 1 mile from the junction.

    If you have a bicycle, start at the Ballasalla Railway Station. Head south on the A5 road (Station Road) for about 200 meters. Turn left onto the A27 (Castletown Road). Continue on the A27 for about 1 mile, keeping an eye out for signs leading to the Heritage Trail. Once you see the signs, follow them until you reach the Heritage Trail Picnic Area. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your speed.
