Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Ballasalla, head south on the A5 road (also known as the Ballasalla Road) towards the village of Malew. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with the B11 road. Cross over to the B11 road, which is also signed for Silverdale Glen. Follow the B11 road, keeping an eye out for the signs directing you to Silverdale Glen. After another 15 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to Silverdale Glen on your right.

    If you are cycling, start from the center of Ballasalla and take the A5 road south towards Malew. You can cycle along the main road, which should take you about 10 minutes. At the junction with the B11 road, turn right onto B11 and continue for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the entrance to Silverdale Glen on your right. Make sure to follow the road signs that indicate the direction to Silverdale Glen.

    From Ballasalla, catch the bus at the Ballasalla bus stop heading towards Douglas or Castletown. Ensure you check the schedule as buses may not run frequently.
