From Castletown, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Dalrymple Street near the Castletown Market Square. Take the number 1 bus heading towards Ramsey. It will take you along the coast and provide scenic views. Stay on the bus until you reach the Maughold Village stop. From there, Maughold Lighthouse is about a 10-minute walk. Head northeast on the main road, following the signs towards the lighthouse. You will walk past some charming local houses, and eventually, the path will lead you directly to the lighthouse.

If you prefer to walk from Castletown, head north on the A5 road towards Maughold. The distance is approximately 5 miles, and it might take about 1.5 to 2 hours. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Isle of Man. Follow the road as it curves, and keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Maughold Village. Once you reach Maughold Village, continue to follow the signs to the lighthouse, which is located on the coast.
