Getting There

Walking
From Laxey village, head towards the Laxey Glen Gardens, which is located at the end of the village. Walk up through the gardens and continue on the main road towards the A1. As you reach the junction with A1, turn left onto the A1 road. Keep walking straight for about 1.5 miles. You will pass through a few small villages including Baldrine and eventually reach St John's. The Royal Chapel of St John the Baptist will be on your right as you approach the center of St John's.

From Laxey village, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road. You can catch the bus number 3 or 4 towards St John's. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the St John's stop, which is close to the chapel. Once you exit the bus, walk a short distance along the A1 towards the chapel, which will be visible on your left.
