Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Central District, take Route 1 (the main highway) towards Jerusalem. Follow signs for 'Jerusalem' and merge onto the highway. Continue until you reach the entrance to the city. Use the exit toward 'Givat Shaul' and follow the signs for 'City Center'. Once in the city, follow Shmuel Stephan Weiz St. and look for the Bible Lands Museum at number 21. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking, which usually costs around 10-20 ILS per hour.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  From Central District, find a local bus station and take bus number 480 or 405 to Jerusalem. The bus ride takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem, exit and look for the light rail station. Take the light rail towards 'Mount Herzl' and get off at the 'City Hall' station. From there, you can walk about 10 minutes to Shmuel Stephan Weiz St. or transfer to bus number 74 which will take you directly to the museum. The total cost for the bus and light rail is approximately 25 ILS.

• Public Transportation - Train

  If you are near a train station, take a train from Central District to Jerusalem's Yitzhak Navon Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and take bus number 74 from the bus stop outside the station. This bus will take you directly to Shmuel Stephan Weiz St., where the museum is located. The train ride takes about 30-40 minutes, and the total cost for the train and bus combined is around 30 ILS.
